JEWELRY CONSIGNMENT POLICY
Dawghouse Jewelry CONSIGNMENT CENTER and the CONSIGNOR of the listed items agree on the following terms:
1. The items are consigned for sale. Consignor warrants that he/she is the owner or otherwise is legally entitled to sell the items. Consignor warrants that to the best of his/her knowledge the items are as represented on the reverse.
2. Sales at asking price is subject to automatic permission to reduce up to 20% if necessary to make a sale. Any reduction more than 20% of then current asking price requires consignor’s approval. Oral approval via phone is acceptable.
3. Consignor to receive 60% of net proceeds. Net proceeds include deduction for credit card service fee, if any.
4. Consignor may remove any item(s) prior to 120 days, so long as there is not a pending sale.
5. There will be a one-time setup fee of $295, payable in advance, of which $200 will be reimbursed upon the sale of your consignment item from/via the website. The reimbursement credit will be applied to your final invoice. The per item set up fee is non-refundable if the item(s) does not sell within the agreed upon consignment period and is picked up or returned to Consignor.
6. Checks for sold items will be processed within 30 days of sale. Sold items will be listed on bottom of check by contract number and letter. A processing fee of $2.00 will be deducted from each issued check.
7. If Dawghouse Jewelry Consignment Center determines after 120 days that an item is not likely to sell, the consignor agrees to reduce price or pick-up item as suggested. If items are not picked up after 18 months from consignment date, consignor agrees that title transfers to Dawghouse Jewelry Consignment Center.
