INTRO:

The origins and causes of Dawghouse Jewelry have been around for a millennium. As we all know, as humans, most of us have a tendency to get in trouble with our significant others from time to time for any number of reasons, large and small (present company included!).

• When not hearing from my buddies (both genders, but primarily guys!) for an inordinate period of time, I often would get a phone call or an email explaining that they needed some jewelry for their wives/partners/girlfriends/or significant others. …right away. My common response was, “Uh-oh, how much is it going to cost you this time to get out of the dawghouse (the Southern way of saying ‘doghouse’)?” The process went like this My friends would tell me the severity of the trouble they were in and we would attach the appropriate jewelry category and amount for each transgression.

• My elves would do their handiwork, the jewelry would be sent as soon as possible (because time is of the essence when in the doghouse….being in there too long is not good for one’s health…or relationship!), and

• Amends would be made.

So, it can be said that keeping couples together and happy are my true goals here, a worthwhile endeavor, wouldn’t you say?

The idea of making it possible to keep my friends…and newly found friends, on good terms with their loved ones blossomed into this website. We try to break down the most common reasons for getting oneself into the dawghouse, attach a price point to each of many transgressions, and let you make your choices accordingly.
